Respite care is support when you need to spend time away from your home or regular caregivers and need access to 24-hour care with accommodation. If you have a family member who provides ongoing support with daily living, respite care provides additional short-term services to help the family address other needs and situations requiring attention. We provide respite care tailored to the needs of NDIS participants and their families. Our Respite Care provides appropriate care, support and comfort for our participants. We take into account the fact that our clients and their families come to us with their own needs and we strive to provide everything that meets their expectations. Our goal is to provide adults with disabilities with a home away from home where they feel peaceful, protected, loved and cared for. As the premier provider of disability support services in New South Wales, Avail Disability helps people recognize their individual capabilities, share them with their communities, and assess the capabilities of others. In addition to short-term care for NDIS participants, we would like to involve them more and more in group activities where they can learn different kinds of social skills. When you use respite care, we believe that time away from home should be a positive and beneficial experience.
